Moldova 2007 -- This is Maria. She is 72 and a widow. Because she is taking care of one of her daughters who is sick with cancer and raising three orphaned grandchildren, she wasn't able to provide food for us. But she said that God has blessed her richly and she wanted to bless us, so she gave us each 100 leu (for a total of 1000 leu to the group). That's the equivalent of one month's salary to her. It was very humbling and very, very touching.
