The Good Intentions Reading Ladies Society was established in 1999 in Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL) with the goal of getting together on a regular basis to discuss assorted books - fiction or not. Since 1999 our group has continued to evolve with some friends moving on & out of the group and new friends joining the group. Our alumnae are scattered across the US now: Dallas, Houston, Washington DC, St. Louis and more. Through this website we are able to keep everyone “in the loop” on what we are reading - no matter where they may be!

  • We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
  • We try to always have at least 2 books selected at any time.
  • She who recommended a book that we read should be prepared to lead the discussion.
