What a wonderfully thoughtful gift. I popped over to her blog and read her posts. She's been through a lot this year and I'm sure she'll find comfort in the "healing shawl".

I am so glad that Cathy is feeling the love. I was so happy to be a part of this project. All the different shades of blue are so beautiful.
Knitter's Blogland is a wonderful place.

Oh Amy! You have moved me, once again, to tears. I am SO INCREDIBLY grateful for friends such as yourself, that I am having a hard time finding the appropriate words to convey how I feel. Calming waters is an absolutely perfect way to describe my feelings when I look at the gorgeous colors in this shawl - it reminds me of the colors of summer, the beach and Maine. I am just so stunned that you all took the time to do something like this for me - knitters are just the most wonderful people in the world. Wrapping up in this beautiful gift, with all of the heartwarming messages attached to it, will most certainly ease the pain I feel at the end of the day.

Thank you so much, dear friend, you have truly touched my heart. (((sniff))) xoxoxoxo

Amy, what a wonderful thing to do. I know Cathy must be feeling a lot of love and prayers, and most importantly, hope, on the receipt of that shawl.
