Sounds like you've had a great time!

I've done not much knitterly as I'm doing mostly taxing things. And I need to get back to them because Tuesday is IT.

You did so many fun things with your sister! Isn't it great to have fun visits like that? My sister lives close by which I adore but there is something special about an entire weekend just doing fun things with your sis.

You have been a busy bee! Looks like fun ;) I can't say that my knitty life has been as exciting, however!

Wow, Amy, You are knitting up a storm and getting out and about in the knitting world. It is so much fun. I sure enjoyed the Harlot. I am about 1/2 way through the new book. I have been getting my day started with it. Happy knitting,

I think I spotted you at Loopy Wednesday night! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello. As soon as I walked in, there was my friend Sarah whom I hadn't seen in months.

I, too, couldn't resist the lure of Amy, her lovely patterns and 5 beautiful skeins of cranberry SWTC bamboo.

Projects? Ribby Pulli, Tuscany (from "No Sheep For You"), an Artisokka silk camisole using Tilli Thomas' Pure and Simple worsted weight silk and socks! Ambitious? You bet. I'll just knit slowly :o)

Thanks for getting Stephanie a copy of my novel, Cast On, Bet's Off. Aside from it being a steamy murder mystery about this passionate couple who owns a yarn shop -- any resemblance to Kim and myself is...well...purely intentional -- I think Steph will have a blast with it 'cause she makes an appearance in the book!
Stephanie is one incredible lady. Kim and I had her do a book signing of Yarn Harlot in our South Bend shop and we had the pleasure of having her as an overnight guest in our guest house. We all stayed up late and went on and on in front of the fireplace. I can't remember laughing so hard since. She's simply amazing. Fiberholics everywhere are fortunate indeed to have her vibrant and kind spirit amongst us.

Best,

Jack
